Added Chapter 11

I added Chapter 11 today.  It is now available on the notes page.  I am finishing up my notes for an upcoming test at the moment, but plan to get to chapter 12 later today.  See you on Tuesday.  Remember to be thinking about a topic for our next study.

Thinking about a book for our next study

Since we will probably be done with Romans by the end of December, I am beginning to think about a book for our next study. I think Hosea would be a good study, but am also thinking about Acts. I heard there is some interest in Song of Solomon as well. Let me know your thoughts. You can post a comment and I will be notified. We can talk about the options over the next few weeks.

Added Chapter 10

Bringing a Bible Study from a Living Room to the Internet

Friends, our Tuesday night life group has been meeting for many years now. Through the years we’ve studied several New Testament books and few Old Testament books. As the teacher, I have been present for all the sessions that I’ve taught. (Thank you Captain Obvious.) However, not everyone else has been able to attend each session.

It occurred to me that a blog might be an excellent way to make my notes available. My thinking is that this will allow the members of the group to keep up if they have to be out of town, are unable to attend because of other obligations, are sick or are caring for a sick family member, or are overwhelmed with life and need to kick back for the evening.

In any case, my hope is that I can use this as a forum to make notes from our Bible studies, essays, or other written communication available to the folks who gather on Tuesday evening to study the Bible together on the Eastern Plains of Colorado.

So, if you are part of the group, feel free to click here to view the notes from our sessions in Romans to date.  I intend to update the Romans page with each week’s notes.  If this proves helpful, I will post some of the other studies we’ve done in their entirety.
